Sparking Sea Horse

oil on handmade wood panel

SOLD

Sea Horses can be as small as a pine nut and as big as a banana. Since they can change their color and shape to blend into their environment, they can be hard to identify. Most wild sea horses are monogamous and some mate for life. They greet each other each morning with a dancelike display. If you haven't seen this already, look up a video of the male seahorse giviing birth. Yes, the males carry the embryos and after two weeks, they shoot forth.
